Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ Review

Storyline:
Taking place in steampunk London, you play as Caradia, a girl whose skin and blood is poison so everything she touches with her bare skin melts and dies. Isolated for being a monster, she awaits her father's return for years. A group called Twilight (an intelligence agency) and the government are after her, because of the Horologium (a powerful gem) that's embedded in her chest.

After being captured by the government, Lupin, a 'thief of justice', saves you from them. He asks you to join him to find her father (Isaac Beckford), who is a notorious alchemist who disappeared years ago after developing the Horologium for a secret government plan that Lupin is trying to stop from occurring. In exchange for her joining him, he'll help her rid the poison from her skin. After meeting others who share the goal of finding her father (for various different reasons), they band together beginning your romantic journey~

What is the difference between this game and the other Code: Realize games?
This is the original game, so it is recommended that you play this game before any of the other Code: Realize games. All the other titles are just Fan Discs, so it's what happened after this game.

Review:
Honestly, I have a soft side for anything steampunk, so this otome caught my eye almost immediately upon its English release. Within the first few minutes of playing, you can tell how highly funded this otome is. The variety of detailed backgrounds, special effects, and many many CG's had me surprised even when just playing the intro. I learned how the world functions along with Caradia and includes a dictionary in the game to learn terms that would be otherwise unfamiliar. There is a lot of obvious work and care to structure this story, that I struggled to refrain myself from going too in-depth in the intro to the storyline. As of right now, this game is only available in English on the PS Vita, but if you own one, I highly recommend playing this game!

Here are the Characters and Guides~
Impey Barbicane- A Womanizing Engineer
Victor Frankenstein- A Kind Convict Alchemist
Saint-Germain- A Wealthy Mysterious Landowner
Abraham Van Helsing- A Mean/Cold Vampire Hunter
Arsene Lupin- A Famous Thief of Justice (Unlock him last T-T)
